Christmas Cottage is a lovely self catering property in Chapel Stile village, near Ambleside, in the heart of Langdale – the heart of the Lake District and a walker’s delight.
The cottage provides a surprising amount of space, revealed once you pass through the small entrance area into the main living space. What looks like a simple modern cottage from the outside, opens up to a huge vaulted living room complete with beams and ample space to relax and look out towards Lingmoor Fell; an imposing crested hill with a working quarry at its foot above Elterwater.
Besides the modern kitchen is a spacious dining area overlooking the living room accessed by a few steps downwards. One of the double bedrooms and the twin share a family bathroom while the second double has a large en-suite; great space for 6 guests with a contemporary feel.
