These three  properties are part of a small development of exclusive houses in Clappersgate, Ambleside that form a private development, each with their own private parking and entrances and include The River House (sleeps 4), The Nest (sleeps 2), and The Pavilion (Sleeps 4). These can be rented together for larger groups up to a total of 10 people, but can be booked in a variety of combinations. Please call our office for further details.

The River House sleeps four. This is a luxurious oak framed property with enviable views across the Brathay towards Black Fell, Park Fell and Great Howe.  The oak framed open plan kitchen, dining and living room open out onto a slate terrace and the large picture windows provide you with fantastic uninterrupted views. This property is all on one level and the largest of the three. It would accommodate all your guests while entertaining.

The Pavilion sleeps  four and is a beautiful property set in a small garden with overhanging terrace to enjoy the late summer sun.  It boasts two well appointed double en-suite rooms on the first floor. The property has recently been refurbished to a high standard.

The Nest sleeps two and is just that; a proper little cosy bolt-hole for the perfect getaway. Small and cosy but perfectly formed, this is a well appointed one bed unit with a small kitchenette and well fitted shower room to keep you self sufficient.  All on one level from the parking area, the accommodation also provides easy access for restricted mobility.
