Ground floor woodland retreat

Squirrels at (no. 4) Neaum Crag. is a ground floor apartment tucked away in a small peaceful wooded setting within the Neaum Development of purpose built holiday apartments and wooden chalets. The property enjoys shared natural grounds around Neaum Crag extending to approx 18 acres and is well placed to enjoy the surrounding area.

Accommodation for up to 2 guests comprises of  a double bedroom with sliding patio doors out to a sitting area.  The spacious kitchen, open plan dining area and lounge are pleasantly furnished in a modern style. From the hallway there is a bathroom with WC and shower over the bath.  From the lounge, patio doors lead on to a patio with seating area offering fantastic views across the pond, woodland and Langdale Fells.

Guests staying at Squirrels can enjoy shared use of the indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and table tennis (open March the 1st to November the 12th). Not only do you have access to wi-fi in the cottage – wi-fi is also available in the pool building. Laundry facilities can also be accessed here.

Many of the best walks in the area can be enjoyed from the doorstep.  The Talbot Pub and Chesters Café at Skelwith Bridge provide good food and drink and are a short (down hill) walk from the apartment.  There is a fantastic walk along the River Brathay to Elterwater through ancient woodland passing the waterfalls.  Fans of  “Geocaching” will love the challenge of hunting nearby Caches.  Ambleside is just under 3 miles away via road, and the head of the Great Langdale Valley is just 5 miles away.  Hawkshead, Coniston and Grasmere are also easily accessed.
