The Pavilion is a beautiful property, furnished to a high standard and set in a small garden with overhanging terrace to enjoy the late summer sun.
This modern property accommodates four guests in two well appointed en-suite double rooms on the first floor, both of which have luxurious free standing baths.
The downstairs open plan dual aspect living room has a bright, airy feeling with the well-equipped kitchen providing a very high standard of fittings. In addition, there is a separate toilet and utility room downstairs, which provides plenty of storage.
Outside there is private parking with enough space for two cars and an enclosed garden area with open views down the River Brathay.
One well behaved dog is only allowed downstairs and strictly not on the soft furnishings.
This beautiful property is part of a private development which includes The Nest (sleeps two) and the River House (sleeps four). These can be rented together for larger groups up to ten people who want to enjoy the extra space and additional privacy of separate properties.

Just outside Ambleside at the northern end of Lake Windermere, Clappersgate is a small hamlet perfectly positioned for exploring the central Lake District. Set where the River Brathay meets the road to Coniston and Hawkshead, it offers a peaceful base with excellent access to some of the area’s best-loved walks and attractions.
Clappersgate is within easy reach of Ambleside, just a 15-minute stroll along the road, and lies on the A593, making it a convenient stop for those travelling by car. The nearest train station is at Windermere, about 5 miles away, with bus and taxi connections available.
From here, you can walk straight into the surrounding fells, enjoy a riverside picnic, or head down to the shores of Windermere at Waterhead. The nearby Brathay Hall estate offers open grounds to explore, while the charming villages of Hawkshead and Coniston are only a short drive away through some of the most scenic routes in the Lakes.
