This is a fantastic cottage located in Arinagour, on the Isle of Coll.  Formerly one of a row of fisherman’s cottages, which still have the moorings opposite and parking area for boats and tackle.

The cottage is a two bedroom cottage, with a large living room, small kitchen and a small shower room.  There is a little yard at the back, and ample parking opposite, with storage for bikes, boats and kayaks.

Coll is accessed by ferry from Oban, and is all about the beaches and the sea.  The island feels fantastically remote, with cottages dotted about the island and single track lanes.  Arinagour is the main village on the island, close to where the ferry docks, and boasts a well stocked village store, a post office, a cafe and the Coll Hotel which has a good restaurant and bar.

Among is various hidden treasure, Coll is well known for its Dark Sky status where you will wonder at the stars on a clear night and see the northern lights in winter.  The waters around the island are also home to seals and are a breeding ground for basking shark.  Many other varieties of whale can also been seen off the island or from one of the various tours available during the summer months.

This property was fully refurbished over the Winter 2022, which refurbished the kitchen and bathroom, with engineered oak flooring through the kitchen and living room, new oak doors and our favorite luxury Herwick wool striped carpet in the bedrooms.  Current basic furbishing will remain.
