The Coach House at Neum Crag, Lounge
Neum Crag Leisure Facilities

Set in a lovely woodland estate with access to the pool facilities

The Coach House at Neaum Crag is a delightful converted coach house built out of Lakeland slate. The 3 bedroom property nestles in the heart of the Neaum Crag estate with other apartments and luxury lodges in a beautiful, peaceful woodland setting close to Skelwith Bridge. The upside down layout comprises of a well equipped kitchen, spacious open plan lounge with wood burning stove, and dining area with access to the balcony, all on the first floor. Downstairs there is a king sized bedroom with en-suite, a double family room with an additional single bed and a single room with built in bed (note: because the bed is slightly shorter than a single and built into the walls, it may not be suitable for taller guests). There is also an additional bathroom with shower. The layout provides flexibility to accommodate up to 6 people.

Guests staying at The Coach House can enjoy complimentary shared use of the indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and table tennis (open March the 1st to November the 12th). Free Wi-fi is available both in the house and in the pool building.

Many of the best walks in the area can be enjoyed from the doorstep.  The Talbot Pub and Chesters Café at Skelwith Bridge provide good food and drink and are a short (down hill) walk from the house.  There is a fantastic walk along the River Brathay to Elterwater through ancient woodland passing the waterfalls. Fans of “Geocaching” will love the challenge of hunting nearby Cache’s. Ambleside is just under 3 miles away via road, and the head of the Great Langdale Valley is just 5 miles away. Hawkshead, Coniston and Grasmere are also easily accessed.
