Barn End, Skelwith Bridge

Barn End is a recently refurbished family property with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and parking for two cars.

Located on a quiet lane between Barngates and Skelwith Bridge, this cottage provides ample space for a large family or group to spread out and enjoy the view from the cottage or the back garden. Recently fully refurbished to a high standard, the cottage has three good sized bedrooms on the ground floor; a double en-suite, another double and a twin with zip and link options. The large open plan living dining area has views from all sides and is on the first floor. There is also a second bathroom with a bath on this floor. There is also a utility / drying room and plenty of storage for bikes and equipment.

The fully enclosed garden at the back of the house is approx. 12m x 7m with a terraced seating area close to the house.

You can walk up to the Drunken Duck from the cottage, although you will need a torch for your way home. In the the other direction, you can walk to Skelwith Bridge and enjoy the walk up into Langdale via Elterwater, or just stay at Chesters by the River Cafe for lunch or afternoon tea. Barn End is a spacious and comfortable base from which to explore our beautiful region.
