Lingmell Fell View is a modern terraced cottage located in Chapel Stile on the way along the Great Langdale Valley in the heart of the Lake District.
The spacious accommodation is spread out over three floors comprising of 3 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge / dining area, bathroom and utility room. It comfortably sleeps up to 5 guests with bedrooms comprising of one super-king bed, another super-king which can be split into two twin beds (please specify on booking), and a single bedroom. It is light, airy and modern, furnished to a high standard and tastefully decorated throughout. The views from the front of the property across the valley to Lingmoor Fell, and Baysbrown Farm are delightful.
There is designated private parking for 1 vehicle to the rear of the property, and further parking available locally. Outside at the front of the cottage is a grassed area where guests can sit and enjoy the fantastic views across the valley and towards the Langdale Pikes.
The heart of the village is just a short stroll away. In the village you can find the well stocked local convenience store -the Langdale Coop, Brambles Cafe, and the Village Church – The Great Langdale Holy Trinity, and The Wainwrights Inn which sells local brewed ales and provides good homemade food. The famous climbers inn The Old Dungeon Ghyll, New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, and Stickle Barn Tavern (now owned by the National Trust) are just up the Langdale Valley.
The property is on a main bus route. Elterwater, the famous Britannia Inn and Slates Bistro are a short stroll away, with a fabulous walk along the river. The cottage is also handily placed to access the Langdale Valley, 4 miles from Ambleside and close to neighbouring villages of Grasmere and Hawkshead.

Located in the beautiful Langdale Valley, Chapel Stile is a small, peaceful village surrounded by some of the most dramatic scenery in the Lake District. The towering Langdale Pikes, lush woodlands and crystal-clear rivers make this a favourite area for walkers, climbers and those seeking a quieter base close to the busier towns.
Chapel Stile is just a short drive from Ambleside and Grasmere and easily reached via the A593 from Ambleside. The nearest train station is at Windermere, around 8 miles away, with regular buses connecting to the Langdale Valley.
Once here, you can enjoy fantastic walking right from your door, with routes ranging from riverside strolls along Great Langdale Beck to challenging hikes up to the Pikes. The village itself has a welcoming pub, a well-stocked shop, and a lovely old church, with the valley offering plenty of opportunities for photography and picnics.
