27 Thrang Brow is a modern terraced cottage located in Chapel Stile, on the way along the Great Langdale Valley, in the heart of the Lake District.
The spacious accommodation is spread out over three floors and comprises two bedrooms, kitchen, lounge / dining area, bathroom and utility room. It comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests with bedrooms comprising of double bedroom and a twin bedroom. It is light, airy and modern and tastefully decorated throughout. Dramatic views from the front of the property across the valley to Lingmoor Fell, and Baysbrown Farm.
There is designated private parking for one vehicle to the rear of the property, and further parking available locally. Outside, at the front of the cottage, is a grassed south facing area where guests can sit and enjoy the fantastic views across the valley and towards the Langdale Pikes.
Guests can also use the ground floor single garage space for storage of bicycles, canoes and outdoor equipment.
The heart of the village is just a short stroll away where guests can find the well stocked local convenience store -the Langdale Coop, Brambles Cafe, the welcoming village church – The Great Langdale Holy Trinity, and Wainwrights Inn, which sells local brewed ales and provides good homemade food.
The famous climbers inn The Old Dungeon Ghyll, New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, and Stickle Barn Tavern (now owned by the National Trust) are just up the Langdale Valley.

Located in the beautiful Langdale Valley, Chapel Stile is a small, peaceful village surrounded by some of the most dramatic scenery in the Lake District. The towering Langdale Pikes, lush woodlands and crystal-clear rivers make this a favourite area for walkers, climbers and those seeking a quieter base close to the busier towns.
Chapel Stile is just a short drive from Ambleside and Grasmere and easily reached via the A593 from Ambleside. The nearest train station is at Windermere, around 8 miles away, with regular buses connecting to the Langdale Valley.
Once here, you can enjoy fantastic walking right from your door, with routes ranging from riverside strolls along Great Langdale Beck to challenging hikes up to the Pikes. The village itself has a welcoming pub, a well-stocked shop, and a lovely old church, with the valley offering plenty of opportunities for photography and picnics.
