Cosy retreat with great views

Just a couple of minutes’ walk from the heart of Ambleside Village

Gale Coach House has been carefully developed by the owners to offer high quality accommodation, in a great location and to make the most of the beautiful views from the first floor.

Set out with the bright and airy first floor living room and open plan kitchen to take full of advantage of the south facing views across the rooftops to Claife Heights and the Coniston Fells beyond with large floor to ceiling picture windows opening onto a glass fronted balcony spanning the width of the cottage.

Originally built as the Coach House for Gale House, the property is approached through the gateway to Gale House. One private parking space is available to the front of the property.

The front door opens onto a spacious hallway with ample coat hanging and boot storage and the oak staircase leads to the first floor living accommodation.

The spacious open plan kitchen/diner features large floor to ceiling picture windows, which open out onto a wide, glass fronted balcony with stunning views. The living room has a log burning stove, Smart TV, comfortable sofa and dining table. The quality kitchen is finished to a high standard and very well equipped with everything you could need during your stay.

On the ground floor, the bedroom is well furnished – the king size double bed is a welcome retreat at the end of the day.  The bathroom is well fitted with separate bath and shower cubicle.

Outside –  accessed via the balcony, there is a secluded elevated patio area, ideal for everything from enjoying the morning paper with a cup of coffee or an alfresco dinner and a glass of wine.
