Pippins in Elterwater, is a traditional Lakeland end of terrace cottage dating back to the 18th century but offers all modern amenities to make your stay comfy and cosy. Pippins is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard providing cosy accommodation for up to four holiday makers.
On the ground floor is a spacious cottage style lounge with feature fireplace with a gas fired wood effect stove, a newly refurbished kitchen and dining area. Upstairs are the bedrooms; a double en-suite, a twin and a family bathroom with shower over the bath.
A private patio to the rear of the property is an ideal place to sit and enjoy the peace of the valley after a hard day’s walking. Parking is available locally via on street parking. The cottage has 1 parking permit which must be displayed when parking within the controlled zone area within the village. Further parking is available outside the controlled zone or, if you are National Trust Members, you can park for free in the National Trust Car Park in Elterwater.
Elterwater is one of the prettiest villages in the Lake District and the location of Pippins is right in the heart of the village. The famous Britannia Inn is just a short stroll away from the front door, Slates Bistro is on the corner and the Eltermere Inn is a 5 minute walk away over the stone bridge that spans the River Brathay. No more than two small dogs allowed.
