Elterwater, Nr Ambleside

Tucked away behind traditional stone walls is a real gem of a property.  This extensive four-bedroom house is surrounded by superb gardens, and fell views from every window.  The ground floor rooms open out onto a terrace, with generous room to spread out and ample room to gather together for family meals.

The kitchen-diner has a large table to seat up to 10 guests, with three seating areas on the ground floor with underfloor heating, with gas central heating throughout the rest of the house.  There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, with family bathroom and separate toilet, which is great for anyone with restricted mobility. The large master bedroom on the first floor has a separate seating and changing area, as well as a large bath in the bedroom and separate ensuite shower room.

The garden surrounds the house and is fully enclosed, with several outside seating areas, lawn games and BBQ.

The gated drive leads to the parking area in front of the house, which can easily park up to 4 cars with room to manoeuvre, and space to safety store bikes etc.

Tucked away in the stunning Langdale Valley, Elterwater is a picture-perfect Lake District village, known for its peaceful setting, charming stone cottages, and the beautiful tarn that gives the village its name.
